On 5 May 2026, Magellan Financial Group Ltd (MFG) announced a proposed change to the investment management arrangements for its Global Equities strategy. As part of these changes, Magellan Global Fund - Open Class Units – Active ETF (ASX: MGOC) (APIR Code: MGE0001AU) and the Magellan Global Fund (Hedged) (APIR Code: MGE0007AU) (Funds) will be changed to the Vinva Global Alpha Strategy. Magellan Asset Management Limited (MAML) will remain the Responsible Entity of the Funds and will retain responsibility for distribution. The Magellan Global Equities Fund (Currency Hedged) - Active ETF (ASX: MHG) was closed effective 5 June 2026. The change in fee structure took effect on 5 May 2026. Magellan Asset Management Limited in its capacity as responsible entity for the Magellan High Conviction Trust – Active ETF (MHHT), announced it has changed the Trust name to Magellan Global Opportunities Fund – Active ETF. Additionally, the Magellan High Conviction Fund (MHCF) has been renamed to Magellan Global Opportunities Fund No. 2.
